Demolition, site work and new construction of a military facility in Syracuse, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 40-square-foot, one-story above grade military facility.

Provide and install a prefabricated ballistic guard house, 5’ wide x 8’ long x 8’ high, UL752 Level 3. Scope includes fabrication utilizing 1/4” certified UL752 Level 3 steel exterior walls, two UL 752 Level 3 bullet resistant solid sliding doors with latch lock, weather stripping, and tinted UL Level 3 clad polycarbonate glazing; 360-degree view UL 752 Level 3 bullet resistant windows, tinted and fixed polycarbonate glass, 36” tall; UL 752 Level 3 AC shroud welded around the AC opening. Other required building elements include a 3” structural steel tubing frame, R-18 insulation, VCT flooring (color TBD), factory finish UL 752 Level 3 bullet resistant exterior wall panels with 16 ga heavy duty steel interior, galvanized and mechanically fastened, ceiling finished with 11-ga heavy duty steel, roof finished in 11-ga heavy duty steel galvanized and welded, two 18” overhangs on doorways. Electrical and HVAC package consists of minimum 12-ga copper wiring in 12” EMT surface mounted conduit, (2) single pole switches, (6) 115V duplex receptacles, 12-amp 12-space breaker box with 4 circuits, (4) T8 fluorescent lights, (6) exterior floodlights with switch, wall mounted HVAC unit (18,000 BTU cooling, 16,000 BTU heating) with ballistics shroud. Power box location must match existing structure to avoid new cabling. Remove and dispose of existing gate shack and deliver new shack to existing pad using a minimum of 4 built-in anchor points.
