Site work for a communication facility in Dubuque, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a communication facility.
The scope of the project is the electrical installation of a new Utility Transformer Pad, one CT/PT Cabinet & Meter, one 800A, 480V/277V/3P Panel, and one 200KW Power Block & LVL 3 DCFC. The Power Block and Level 3 DCFC will be provided by the owner. Bidders must submit a bid security in the amount of ten percent of the contract, in the form of a cashier's check, certified check, certified share draft, or a bid bond with acceptable corporate surety. Preference will be given to products and provisions grown and coal produced within Iowa, and to Iowa domestic labor, as required by statute. Bidders should not include State of Iowa sales tax in the bid, as a sales tax exemption certificate will be provided for materials purchased in Iowa. There are no requirements for Targeted Small Business (TSB) affirmative action, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) policy, or federal prevailing wage rates for this project. There will be no pre-bid conference.
