Description

Renovation of a museum in West Haven, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.

The City of West Haven is soliciting sealed bids from qualified and licensed roofing contractors to perform roof and gutter repairs at the historic Poli/Maud Hughes House, located at 686 Savin Avenue, West Haven, CT. The building serves as the headquarters of the West Haven Historical Society and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. All work shall be performed in accordance with historic preservation standards and all applicable Federal, State, and local codes and regulations. Bids must include one original and three copies and be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the project name and bid number. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and award in the best interest of the City. Minority/Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to apply. This contract is subject to applicable state set-aside and contract compliance requirements, including CHRO requirements where applicable.
