Renovation of an educational facility in Shreveport, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids are solicited for Forest Hill Restroom Renovation, Project No. 2027-241. Bidders may obtain complete bidding documents from ACE Digital, with a refundable deposit for prime bidders who submit bids and return documents in good condition. Louisiana Licensed Contractor with Building Construction classification is required. Bid security of 5% of the total bid must accompany the bid, and if selected, the successful bidder must provide a performance bond equal to 100% of the contract amount. Liquidated damages of $400 per day will be applied for each calendar day beyond the 67-day completion date. Bids cannot be withdrawn for 45 days post-opening. The Board reserves the right to reject any bids, and bidders are encouraged to utilize 25% small and economically disadvantaged businesses. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid conference by a qualified company representative is a pre-condition for eligibility. Perspective bidders must remain for the entire conference; failure to do so prohibits bidding.
