North Cornwall Township will be accepting sealed bids for the 2026 paving project. Work includes milling, wearing course paving, and line painting. Questions Due Date:Mar 13th 2024, 4:30 AM EDT Online Portal Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check or bid bond (in the required form) for ten percent (10%) of the bid total. The work generally includes wearing course overlay of Reist Road and Quail Lane in North Cornwall Township. The work also includes bridge repairs at a bridge crossing Beck Creek along Reist Road, involving careful removal of pavement to access the bridge structure and the complete replacement of box beam shear keys, in addition to the installation of a waterproofing membrane and associated items. The work involves line re-painting along Reist Road after overlay. Bidders are advised that prevailing wage rates and record-keeping procedures established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry shall apply for bids over $100,000 and that minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents shall be paid on the project. North Cornwall Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any and all bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any bid at its sole discretion. It is anticipated that the Board of Supervisors will award the bid at their April 7, 2026 , meeting at 6:00 pm . Mill all driveways, intersections, tack coat and compacted placement of 0.5" 9.5mm scratch course and 1.5" depth of 9.5mm wearing course and seal coat all joints, utility covers, including traffic line painting. Base Repair, including milling and placement of 5" depth of base course, Bridge wearing surface removal, installation of waterproof membrane, and paving of 0.5", 9.5mm PG64S-22 (2 lifts). Bridge over Beck Creek to have asphalt deck carefully removed and shear key grout replaced, among other repair items.
