**As of May 13th, 2026, the project was awarded to Flowline LLP with an awarded amount of $391,346.50** The Discovery Rd/19th St & Sheridan St Bicycle & Pedestrian Safety project includes constructing full depth asphalt pavement, planing, and asphalt overlay on Discovery Road and 19th Street; removing existing storm pipe and drainage structure; constructing storm pipe and drainage structures; removing existing sidewalk, curb ramps, and curbs; constructing curb ramps and sidewalks, and detectable warning strips; removing old signs; constructing new signs; constructing pavement markings; and constructing bike lane delineators. The work will also include traffic control, temporary pedestrian route maintenance, and coordination with the City for construction sequencing. All Bid Proposals must be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in surety bond equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish satisfactory bonds, the bid proposal deposit will be forfeited. Bidders must register to receive addenda notifications and to be placed on the bidders list. By signing the bid proposal, the bidder acknowledges reading the City of Port Townsend's Title VI Non-Discrimination Assurances. The City of Port Townsend reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive informalities in the Bidding.
