Sealed bids are invited for the construction of storm water improvements on Lois Dr, Central Ave, and Evergreen Dr. The project involves installing storm inlets and pipes along local roads to enhance the storm infrastructure network, including storm sewer removal, installation, and restoration of roads, sidewalks, and lawns as incidental work. Bids are to be submitted properly executed on the Bid Form, accompanied by an executed Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96, confirmation of receipt of Addenda (if applicable), and satisfactory bid security. A bid bond or check equal to five percent of the bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds each for one hundred percent of the contract amount. Bidders must demonstrate experience in constructing similar facilities. Contractors must comply with employment eligibility verification and must not engage in investment activities in Iran. The City will evaluate bids based on the Total Base Bid and other relevant facts, reserving the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informalities. * There will be no pre-bid meeting for this project; contractors shall familiarize themselves with the field conditions and locations in preparation for their bid. * Any questions shall be submitted to Daniela Martins at dmartins@valpo.us no later than three (3) days before the bid opening.
