Demolition for a road / highway in Washington, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a road / highway.
The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Washington (RACW) will receive bids for the Independence and Washington Demolition Project No. BMP 26-01. Each bid must include a bid guaranty of at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount, in a form permitted under the contract documents. The minimum salaries and wages set forth in the contract documents must be paid. Contractors must ensure no discrimination in employment due to race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, or handicap. Bids may be held for up to forty-five (45) days for review and investigation of bidder qualifications. Contractors must be able to start work within 15 days of contract execution and complete the work within 45 consecutive calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. RACW reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in the bidding. No oral interpretation will be made to any Bidder as to the meaning of the Contract Documents or any part thereof. Every request forsuch an interpretation shall be made in writing to the Local Public Agency. Any inquiry received seven or more days prior to the date fixed for opening of Bids will be given consideration
