Renovation of a military facility in West Haven, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and resources necessary to furnish and deliver brand-name-only Armstrong ceiling tiles in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. The requirement is for Armstrong Ultima Health Zone High NRC ceiling tiles with no substitutions permitted. Tiles must meet the specified technical characteristics, including square lay-in 15/16 grid, white mineral fiber construction, fine texture, factory-applied latex paint finish, Class A fire rating, 0.80 NRC sound absorption, 35 CAC sound blocking, HumiGuard Plus sag and humidity resistance, BioBlock, water repellency, soil and impact resistance, and compliance with ASTM Type IV, Form 2, Pattern E. The requirement includes quantities of Armstrong 1445 Ultima Health Zone High NRC ceiling tiles (24 x 24 x 7/8) and Armstrong 1448 Ultima Health Zone High NRC ceiling tiles (24 x 48 x 7/8) as specified. Contractor performance must comply with all VA privacy, security, and HIPAA requirements. Location: West Haven VAMC, VA Connecticut Healthcare System, 950 Campbell Avenue, West Haven, CT 06516.
