Site work for a water / sewer project in Soperton, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, and labor for the construction of sewerage system rehabilitation including 238 linear feet of 8-inch dig and replace existing sewer line, rehabilitation of and 1,153 linear feet of 8-inch and 4,411 linear feet of 10-inch sanitary sewer using trenchless pipe replacement, including cleaning, pre and post video, rehabilitating 22 existing manholes, 47 linear feet replacing concrete sidewalk, 54 square yards asphalt replacement, 10 linear feet remove and replace existing curb and gutter, by-pass pumping, and appurtenances. All bidders must have a State of Georgia Utility Contractor License and employ a state "Utility Manager" certificate holder to oversee the work. Proposals must be submitted on the provided proposal form with prices in words and figures. All proposals must include a Bid Bond in favor of the City of Soperton, Georgia, amounting to at least 5% of the lump sum bid. The successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds each equal to 100% of the contract amount. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
