Provide comprehensive preventative maintenance, inspection, corrective service, and emergency repair for Veterans Canteen Service equipment located at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System campuses in West Haven and Newington. This includes full maintenance, scheduled preventive maintenance, periodic testing, corrective call back service for operational problems, and supported after-hours emergency services for a variety of specialized kitchen equipment and systems. The contractor shall supply all resources, including parts (OEM only), materials, labor, tools, and equipment, and must comply with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards. The contractor must submit maintenance and service reports in accordance with specified timelines, perform routine PM for ice machines and soda fountains quarterly, and respond to service calls within required timeframes. Technicians must be OEM-trained and field service must be within 200 miles of the campuses. Service requirements include initial assessments, annual inspections, visual inspection stickers, and compliance with VA health, safety, and infection control policies. Bidders must show evidence of OEM training, detail their PM approach and emergency response capability, provide safety and parts sourcing plans, submit past performance references, price proposals, and confirm SDVOSB status. All required documentation and reports must be submitted electronically and in hard copy as specified.
