Renovation of a military facility in Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
The work consists of providing all labor, materials, equipment, and certified personnel necessary to remove, inspect, and attempt corrective repair of a seized cooling tower Condenser Pump 2 and motor assembly. The contractor shall safely mobilize, coordinate site access, and execute proper lockout/tagout procedures prior to beginning work. Tasks include removal of the pump and motor assembly, inspection and diagnostic efforts to determine repairability, and attempts to free seized components. If the equipment is deemed repairable, the contractor shall perform corrective repairs, including bearing replacement, and provide all required replacement materials such as bearings, gaskets, seals, consumables, and miscellaneous hardware. Following repair, the contractor shall reinstall the pump and motor assembly, perform precise alignment, and conduct operational testing to verify proper performance under normal load conditions. If inspection determines the pump or motor is beyond economical repair, repair actions shall cease and a follow-on replacement quote shall be submitted for Government approval prior to proceeding. All work and parts shall be covered by a one-year warranty, and all services must be performed by qualified and experienced personnel in accordance with the Statement of Work. Location: Nellis Air Force Base, 4430 Grissom Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89191. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
