Provide exterior lighting maintenance and repair services for the VA Connecticut Healthcare System, including the Newington and West Haven Medical Centers. Work includes furnishing all labor, transportation, parts, materials, equipment, tools, supervision, and incidentals necessary to perform preventive maintenance, semi-quarterly inspections, scheduled maintenance, and unscheduled or emergency repairs of exterior campus lighting fixtures. Services are intended to maintain reliable operation, safety, and compliance with applicable NFPA, OSHA, federal, state, and VA requirements. The contractor shall develop a complete inventory of all exterior lighting fixtures, perform visual inspections at least once every 60 days, identify deficiencies, provide repair quotations, and complete approved repairs. Work includes coordination of outages, lockout/tagout procedures, hot work permits, cleanup and proper disposal of debris, and certified documentation of maintenance and repairs. All work must be performed by licensed and qualified electricians using new OEM parts, with emergency services available 24 hours a day. The contractor shall provide reports, warranties, records management compliance, and coordination with VA facilities staff in accordance with the statement of work.
