Sealed bids are invited for the Thornbury Township Meeting Room Renovations (Plumbing). The general contract will include all mechanical and electrical work as described in the Bid Documents, including but not limited to: General Construction, Plumbing, Heating, and Electrical Work, all in accordance with the Standard Conditions, Drawings, and Specifications. Bids shall be submitted digitally via the PennBid system online. No physical or electronic copies will be accepted at the Township offices. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid, payable to the Township of Thornbury. Bidders must address all correspondence and submittals for the Thornbury Township Meeting Room Renovations when uploading in PennBid. Attention is drawn to requirements concerning PA Prevailing Wage Rates, insurance requirements, equal opportunity provisions, and requirements for payment and performance bonds at 100% of the contract price, as well as a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive any information in bidding as deemed in the best interest of the Township. The Exterior Scope of Work is Limited to New Exterior Doors From the Meeting Room and an Optional New Roof Over the Secondary Meeting Room Exit.
