The base bid work includes providing 4” pulverize and relay, and 4-inch asphalt paving for 8,900 square yards of Honey Creek South from the County Line to the Railroad. Railway communication and permitting are required. Major items include 8,900 SY of pulverize and relay, 2,175 tons HMA pavement, traffic control, railway coordination, and preparing butt joints. There is also one mandatory additional bid, which includes: providing 4” mill and 4-inch asphalt paving for an 80 SY patch on Riverview Ln, 4” mill and 4-inch asphalt paving for a 45 SY patch on Beach Dr., 2” mill and 2-inch asphalt paving for an 80 SY patch on Blackbird Ct., 4-inch asphalt paving for 94 SY of patches on Raab Rd., 2” mill and 2-inch asphalt paving for a 90 SY patch on E. Peninsula Dr., 2” mill and 2-inch asphalt paving for a 105 SY patch on Marsh Rd., 2” mill and 2-inch asphalt paving for 375 SY of patches on Hill Valley Dr., 4-inch asphalt paving for a 52 SY patch on Gale Rd., and 2” mill and 2-inch asphalt paving for a 200 SY patch on Ranke Rd. Major items of the additional bid work with approximate quantities include 975 SY of milling and 182 tons HMA pavement. Bidders must submit a completed Bidders Qualification Statement form with the bid. Each bid must include a list of proposed subcontractors and the class of work for each, and contractors must not alter this list without written consent from the Town. The selected contractor and subcontractors must provide a certificate of insurance. Bids must be submitted online through QuestCDN.com and accompanied by a bid bond equal to 5 percent of the bid. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept any proposal deemed most favorable to the interests of the owner.
