Rozell Plant, Eastern Washington University, Cheney, WA 99004-2464. BASE BID COST $ 6,000,000 - $ 7,000,000 The project generally consists of the removal and replacement of the decommissioned steam boiler, B-3, and installation of a new 40,000 pph rated steam boiler, at the EWU Rozell Central Energy Plant, including, but not limited to, the demolition & removal of major elements of the existing plant systems, installation of a new industrial water tube steam boiler and associated controls, the installation of new, and modification of existing, steam plant piping systems, as well associated controls. The project includes the replacement and upgrade of several major pieces of electrical equipment and power services associated with the boiler plant. The project also includes other miscellaneous and incidental mechanical, plumbing, electrical, structural, architectural, roofing and site work associated with the primary boiler replacement work. In response to the COVID-19 global pandemic and in an effort to keep our contractors and staff healthy, the Construction & Planning Services Department of Eastern Washington University (C&P) is making changes to the Public Works bid submittal and bid opening process *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
