Contractor shall furnish and install a new natural gas generator and all required equipment and wiring for fully automated power transfer at the Allegan County OnPoint's new building located at 540 Jenner Drive, Allegan, MI 49010. Deadline for Questions to be submitted : 3:00 PM on March 6, 2024 Deadline for OnPoints response to questions:5:00 PM on March 8, 2024 Contractor shall furnish a generator, automatic transfer switch and any additional equipment needed to provide electricity to the building in case of a power outage. Generator shall; Be a new Generac, Cummins, Kohler or approved equal brand natural gas generator. Be a 200Kw / 250 kVA unit sufficient to provide power to all systems and outlets except cooling (Building load evaluation reports from Generac and Cummins attached as Exhibit A and Exhibit B). Include a suitable enclosure to provide protection from the weather. Include a BACnet or Modbus connection to allow generator to be connected to the Building Automation System. Neither OnPoint nor the County will be holding a public bid opening and bid tabulations will not be released until all proposals have been evaluated, scored and a contract has been awarded Contractor Inquiries - due by 3:00 p.m. on March 6, 2024. Should Contractor find any discrepancies, omissions, ambiguities, or conflicts within the RFP packet, be in doubt about their meaning, or have any questions about the RFP process or the scope of work, they should bring such questions in writing to the attention of: Patti Wartella - Project Management Specialist Allegan County - County Services Building 3283 122nd Ave Allegan, MI 49010 projects@allegancounty.org County Response - posted by 5:00 p.m. on March 8, 2024. The County will compile and review all questions received from contractors with OnPoint and post responses to the County as an RFP Clarification. Clarifications modifying the Agreement or Scope of Work will be incorporated into the final Agreement. Neither the County nor OnPoint will not be responsible for any oral instructions A written request for the withdrawal of a proposal or any part thereof will be granted if the request is received by the Project Management Specialist prior to the specified proposal due date and time. Proposals, amendments thereto, or requests for withdrawal of proposals received by the Project Management Specialist after the specified proposal due date and time will not be considered.
