Allegan public schools is soliciting bids for a Turn-key project to install (2) Viessmann CI2 Boilers (owner provided/contractor installed) and accompanying modifications to the High School Hydronic piping modifications, Electrical & Control systems along with other required trades to install mechanical items per the drawings generate by E3M Solutions Removal of (2) existing heating boilers. Install (2) New owner supplied Viessmann heating boilers (owner provided/contractor installed). Domestic hot water system and equipment modifications. New heating supply pumps. AHUs 3-way valve modifications. The contractor is responsible for the State of Michigan use tax on all installed materials. For the mechanical contractor this includes owner pre-purchased equipment. The amount of use tax due on owner pre-purchased equipment is $5,065.61 and shall be included in the bid sum. Equipment listed is the basis of design, alternate makes and models to have equal or greater capacity and to be reviewed by owner and engineer prior to ordering.
