Award amount is $977,713.13** The work of this contract Includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: roadway milling and paving of bay boulevard consists of Removal/replacement of approximately 4,111 lf concrete curb, 921 sy concrete sidewalk, 127 sy driveway Aprons and replacement of 9 concrete handicap ramps where necessary; pavement reconstruction including Approximately 19,059 sy varying depth milling; gravel base course; 381 tons superpave hot mix asphalt base And 2,492 tons surface course; drainage improvements including installation of ductile iron pipe, inlets, And manholes; traffic striping; and all work necessary and incidental thereto. The contractor is advised That it is the borough's intent to issue the notice to proceed for this project on or about september 16, 2024. Each Bid must be accompanied by a proposal guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond or Certified Check for an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the full amount of each Contract Bid, not to exceed $20,000. Surety shall be made payable to: Borough of Seaside Heights, and shall be without condition or qualification. The Borough reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all Bids, if it is in the public interest to do so.
