Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Avoca, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.

The proposed renovations to the Avoca Community Center are: (1) Masonry Repairs to the Exterior North Concrete Steps and Stairwell. Handrails are to be cleaned and painted. (2) Masonry repairs to the Exterior Front Steps and the Hawthorne Street Concrete Steps, Stairwell, and Ramp. Handrails are to be cleaned and painted. (3) Provide and install new flooring for First Floor Main Entrance Hall. First Floor Main Entrance Hall Walls shall be painted. (4) Remove existing partitions and install new flooring for First Floor Storage Room Area. First Floor Storage Room Area shall be painted. (5) Provide and install new light fixtures for First Floor Storage Room Area. Install new electrical receptacles and switches as need First Floor Storage Room Area. (6) Provide and install new flooring for Second Floor Mezzanine Area. Second Floor Mezzanine Area Walls shall be painted. (7) Repair plaster walls in the Gymnasium. Gymnasium walls and ceiling shall be painted. (8) Provide and install new flooring and ceiling tiles for the two Gymnasium restrooms. Gymnasium restrooms wall shall be cleaned. All Bidding Contractors are requested to attend. BID SECURITY in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for 100% of their bid amount and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of their bid amount within 15 days of the contract being awarded. This project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act . The project is funded by a grant from the Local Share Account (LSA) Program Grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority and all requirements of this Authority are to be met by the Bidders. The successful bid will be required to submit Non- Discrimination/Sexual Harassment Clause which is contained in the Contract Documents.
