Site work for a civil project in Cleveland, Tennessee. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
** As of September 5, 2025 project cancelled and no longer needed.** The Project consists of the following major elements: Installation of a new lift station (100,000 gallons per day capacity), including approximately 3,000 linear feet of 8-inch PVC gravity sewer and approximately 1,700 linear feet of 6-inch HDPE force main connected to the lift station. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, prepared on the form of Bid Bond attached to the Contract Documents or a Surety Company's Standard Bid Bond, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Tennessee and listed in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, in the amount of five percent of the Bid. All bidders must be licensed General Contractors as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994 of the General Assembly of the State of Tennessee and qualified for the type of construction being bid upon. The work will be awarded in one Contract. Contract time is 240 consecutive calendar days. The work shall be substantially completed within 210 consecutive calendar days. No bidder may withdraw his bid within (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The successful Bidder for this Contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities and to re-advertise.
