The west well is experiencing greatly reduced productivity during it's time of use. The scope of this project is to redevelop the west well to enhance performance. The Polk County Conservation Board (PCCB) would like to contract well repair and/or enhancement at the Chichaqua Bottoms Greenbelt Controlled Marsh located at 9000 NE 126th Avenue, Maxwell, Iowa. Specifications are included in Section 5 "Scope of Work". All work must be completed in compliance with the all laws and permits. The Natural Resources Manager's interpretation of all specifications shall be final. Polk County Conservation will not provide price adjustments for cost increases or decreases in the price of fuel. In cases of discrepancy between this scope and the specifications, the scope will take precedence. Additional payments for increased quantities, labor or equipment usage will only be allowed if a change order is warranted due to a change in project scope or unforeseen conditions.
