The location of the job is at Mercer County Housing Authorities Main Offices at 80 Jefferson Ave Sharon, Pa. 16146. By submission of a bid, if the bid is accepted, the contractor agrees to enter into a contract with Mercer County Housing Authority to complete all work as specified in the attached scope of work for the quoted price and within the contract time agreed 30 days. Also replacing the concrete around two catch basins and the concrete extension on one of them. Demo the existing asphalt down to sub-base. Check grading and sloping. Determine the stability of the existing sub-base repair any soft spots, make sure the sub-base is appropriately compacted. Install 2" new asphalt. Seal all transitions with a rubberized asphalt sealant. Asphalt Work Scope: Milling the existing asphalt at a 2" depth. (Roughly 13,065 Sq. Ft.) 2. Determine the grading and sloping of these areas. 3. The milling surface will get swept and cleaned to remove debris and dust. 4. Pinpoint potential weak or soft spots. Repair any soft spots by undercutting or geo-grid. 5. Prepare and compact the sub-base. 6. Apply the tack coat. 7. Laydown the new asphalt and compact it with rollers. 8. No work will be done on the north and south sides of the building. 9. Seal all transitions with a rubberized asphalt sealant. 10. Replace all pavement markings back to original. 11. MCHA will notify all employees and assist with car removals.
