Sealed Bids will be received for the St. Charles County Bike-Walk Phase 1 Project. Bidders must submit one signed original and one digitized copy of the bid in a sealed envelope, designated with the project name, bidder's name, bidder's address, and the date and time of bid opening. The bid may be forwarded by mail, but must be enclosed in another envelope addressed as specified in the bid form. Bids may be modified or withdrawn by an appropriate document delivered prior to the date and time for the opening of Bids. No additions, deletions, corrections, or adjustments will be accepted after submissions are opened. The proposed work, hereinafter called the work, includes: removal of existing sidewalk and upgrading to 10' wide multi-use path, new sign wayfinding and pavement marking, bike lane striping, ADA improvements, new mid-block crosswalks with rectangular rapid flashing beacons, removal and replacement of existing concrete multiuse path, and rehabilitation of existing asphalt multi-use path.
