Site work and paving for a road / highway in Passaic, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Sealed Rebid Proposals are invited for the furnishing and delivery of roadway improvements under the 2025 NJDOT Local Aid and Urban Aid Roadway Improvements project in the City of Passaic, Passaic County, New Jersey. Proposals must be submitted on the standard proposal form provided, and accompanied by a Proposal Guarantee in the form of a Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check in the amount of ten percent of the total bid, not exceeding $20,000. Bidders must also submit a Certificate of Surety stating that a Performance Bond will be provided. The successful contractor will be required to submit a Payment Bond and Maintenance Bond. Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope, addressed as specified, and clearly marked. Bidders must comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27, and prevailing wage rates as determined by the New Jersey Department of Labor. Every request for an interpretation shall be in writing, addressed to the City of Passaic representative stipulated in the bid. In order to be given consideration, written requests for interpretation must be received at least seven (7) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of the bids.. The scope of work within the Base Bid will consist of milling, resurfacing, ADA ramp construction and associated sidewalk transitions to ADA Ramps and curb, select sidewalk reconstruction, select full-depth roadway repair, installation of pavement striping, resetting of all sanitary structures and storm drainage structures on Hillside Way from Van Houten Avenue to Richard Street (Sta. 0+00 - Sta. 3+92), Howe Avenue from Van Houten Avenue to Delaware Avenue (Sta. 0+00 - Sta. 5+45), Howe Avenue from Liberty Street to Paulison Avenue (Sta. 0+00 - Sta. 14+81), Boulevard from Oak Street to Lincoln Street (Sta. 0+00 - Sta. 15+50) within the City of Passaic. Additionally, the Base Bid will consist of installation of rectangular rapid flashing beacons at the intersection of Boulevard Avenue and St. Mary's Hospital (Sta. 5+50 - Sta. 6+00) within the City of Passaic. The scope of work within the Alternate Bid A will consist of milling, resurfacing, ADA ramp construction and associated sidewalk transitions to ADA Ramps and curb, select sidewalk reconstruction, select full-depth roadway repair, installation of pavement striping, resetting of all sanitary structures and storm drainage structures on Boulevard from Lincoln Street to Broadway (Sta 15+50 - Sta 19+13) within the City of Passaic. The scope of work within the Alternate Bid B will consist of milling, resurfacing, ADA ramp construction and associated sidewalk transitions to ADA Ramps and curb, select sidewalk reconstruction, select full-depth roadway repair, installation of pavement striping, resetting of all sanitary structures and storm drainage structures on Boulevard from Broadway to Albion Street (Sta 19+13 - Sta 22+91) within the City of Passaic. The scope of work within the Alternate Bid C will consist of milling, resurfacing, ADA ramp construction and associated sidewalk transitions to ADA Ramps and curb, select sidewalk reconstruction, select full-depth roadway repair, installation of pavement striping, resetting of all sanitary structures and storm drainage structures on Boulevard from Albion Street to Meade Avenue (Sta 22+91 - Sta 27+04) within the City of Passaic. The scope of work within the Alternate Bid D will consist of milling, resurfacing, ADA ramp construction and associated sidewalk transitions to ADA Ramps and curb, select sidewalk reconstruction, select full-depth roadway repair, installation of pavement striping, resetting of all sanitary structures and storm drainage structures on Boulevard from Meade Avenue to Passaic Avenue (Sta 27+04 - Sta 31+67) within the City of Passaic. The scope of work within the Alternate Bid E will consist of installation of rectangular rapid flashing beacons at the intersection of Boulevard Avenue and Broadway (Sta. 10+00 - Sta. 19+50) within the City of Passaic. The scope of work within the Alternate Bid F will consist of installation of rectangular rapid flashing beacons at the intersection of Boulevard Avenue and St. Mary's Hospital (Sta. 5+50 - Sta. 6+00) within the City of Passaic.
