Renovation of an educational facility in Shreveport, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids are requested for South Highlands HVAC, Project No. 2027-756 for the Caddo Parish School Board. Complete bidding documents are available from EMA Engineering & Consulting, Inc. A Louisiana licensed contractor is required with a major classification as a mechanical contractor. Bid security equal to five percent of the total bid must be attached. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond for one hundred percent of the contract amount. Liquidated damages of $1,000 per day will apply for work not completed beyond the established completion date. No bid can be withdrawn for forty-five days after the opening. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Bidders are encouraged to make good faith efforts to utilize 25% small and economically disadvantaged businesses. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid conference is required for bidder eligibility.
