Provide and install a replacement operator viewing window in the CT Room, 142B, Building 1, White River Junction VA Medical Center. This is a replacement in kind: single pane window, dimensions 4' x 8', ¼" (7 mm) thickness, 1/16" lead equivalency (1.6 mmpb), non-safety rated, X-Ray glass. Reuse the existing window frame and side stops without disturbing the surrounding wall. Remove existing glass and properly dispose of it, providing disposal documents. Install new lead equivalent glass in the existing window frame and reinstall side stops. Conduct a site investigation to verify all conditions and dimensions prior to bidding. Construction will occur in an occupied healthcare facility, requiring infection control measures as defined in ICRA assessment, Class III, Group 2, Type C. Coordinate activities with VA personnel to minimize impact on staff and patients. Maintain at least two egress routes as required by NFPA 101 Life Safety Code; coordinate any interim life safety measures as needed with VA. Adhere to all VA requirements and applicable codes and standards. Provide necessary submittals and plans for approval prior to starting new work. Repair or replace any damage to VA property caused during work. Be responsible for all construction debris removal, provide own dumpster, use sealed dump carts and HEPA carts for interior construction debris. Provide temporary egress and life safety signage as required. All deliverables and documentation are property of the U.S. Government. Offerors must submit a firm fixed price quote, a completed Limitation of Subcontracting form, and a technical capability statement demonstrating the ability to meet requirements. Quote must be clearly indexed and assembled according to evaluation criteria, and include agreement with terms and conditions or note and justify any exceptions.
