Provide air handler repair services at the White River Junction VA Medical Center, including steam coil replacement on AHU-3 and replacement of outdoor air dampers on AHU-2 and AHU-3, in accordance with the Statement of Work. Work includes lock-out/tag-out procedures, careful disassembly and reassembly of equipment to ensure zero air and steam leakage, installation of components per manufacturer specifications, functional testing, and completion of all submittals prior to starting work. All activities must be performed within an occupied healthcare facility using required infection control measures, maintaining egress routes, and coordinating construction phasing to minimize impact on patients and staff. The contractor is responsible for site investigation, field verification of conditions, regulatory notifications, protection of existing finishes, repair of any damage caused, and full debris removal using approved pathways. Crane operations are required to remove and install the steam coil through roof access, and the contractor must submit a detailed Lift Plan for approval and protect the roof during all lifting activities. Work must comply with all applicable safety, regulatory, and record-management requirements, with all project documentation treated as government property. The period of performance may not exceed sixty calendar days from notice to proceed, and work may occur outside normal hours with proper coordination.
