The project involves the Olympic Fiber Corridor Buried Drops-On Call Dock Crew for residential homes within the city of Port Townsend. The general scope of the work is as shown in the enclosed drawings and/or attached specifications. Contractors are invited to submit a sealed bid for the project. A preliminary project plan, schedule, and a resume of the project manager and/or supervisor must be submitted with the bid, along with various exhibit forms as described in the Notice and Instructions to Bidders. Prequalified status is not required, but bid guaranty, payment bond, performance bond, and retainage are required for the awarded contract. All proposals must use the District-provided bid proposal form, comply with the Instructions to Bidders, and be filled out in ink or typewritten. No alterations or interlineations will be permitted unless initialed and dated before submission. Bids must be in a sealed envelope marked with the bidder's name and address, date and time of the opening, and the bid name and number. A certified or cashier’s check for 5 percent of the bid amount or a bid bond is required with each bid. General contractors and subcontractors must be licensed in Washington State. All work is subject to State of Washington prevailing wages. Only registered plan holders will receive email notices of addenda and updates.
