Description

Renovation of a fire / police facility in Spooner, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

Sealed bids will be received for furnishing all labor, material, equipment, and related requirements for the following work: Contract 1: Reroof the Police Department (PD) Garage Roof (flat), including removal of the existing roof, replacement of underlayment as necessary, installation of a 60MIL EPDM rubber roof, and all related accessories. Contract 2: Reroof the PD Office Building Roof (flat), including removal of the existing rubber roof, replacement of underlayment as necessary, installation of a 60MIL EPDM rubber roof, and all related accessories. Bidders must use their company proposal form. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least five percent (5%) of the maximum bid price, payable to the City of Spooner, as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and a 100% Performance and Payment Bond within ten days of bid acceptance. If the bidder fails to file the contract and required bonds within the specified time, the check or bond will be forfeited as liquidated damages. The City reserves the right to waive any informality in the preparation of a bid or to reject any or all bids. Bids may not be withdrawn within sixty days after the scheduled time of bid closing.
