Renovation of a mixed-use development in Evansville, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 111,335-square-foot library.
Sealed proposals are requested to furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to satisfactorily complete the project titled "Rice Library Starbucks Renovation." Bid bond in the amount of no less than five percent of the total bid must accompany the sealed bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish performance and payment bonds for one hundred percent of their contract amount prior to execution of the contract. A certificate of insurance and the required endorsement naming the University of Southern Indiana as additional insured must be provided before the contract is issued. All bidders must submit a certificate of insurance with their bid. The University of Southern Indiana will maintain Builder's Risk or Installation Floater coverage for the project. The University reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, make any combination of proposals, waive any informality, and return unopened any proposal received after the designated time. No bid may be withdrawn for sixty days after opening without the University's consent. Any inquiry received seven (7) or more days prior to the date fixed for opening of the bids will be given consideration.
