The general description of the project and general project information include the following 1. This project will be comprised of the renovation of an existing facility as well as additions to the North and South. The existing building is 37,251 gross square feet and consists of three levels of programmable space. The additions are planned for approximately 6,186 gross square feet. This facility renovation and addition will include but is not limited to replacement of mechanical and electrical infrastructure, modernization of codes requirements, exterior tuck pointing, window replacement, theatre refurbishment, and reconfiguration of spaces into student support services. 2. The Brandenburg building has most recently primarily housed academic classes as well as faculty/staff offices and includes the historic Dorothy and Henry Ley Theatre. The academic classes and faculty/staff offices have been relocated to other facilities. A Career Clothing Closet still operates from the building and a few events still take place in the Ley Theatre however all functions will be removed during construction. 3. The Architect selected for this project is LEO A DALY of Omaha, NE. 4. The estimated construction schedule is May 2027 through July 2028. 5. The estimated construction costs for the project is $ 14,300,000.
