The project consists of furnishing all material, labor, equipment and appurtenances for crack sealing for various streets and miscellaneous trench repairs at various locations throughout the Borough. Furnish materials and remove and replace existing storm sewer pipe and inlets at intersection of North Elm Street and Sander Alley, including full trench restoration and overlay of intersection, removal and replacement of existing inlet along Greenwich Street and guide rail replacement on Constitution Boulevard.. The Proposal for the 2024 Street and Storm Sewer Improvements Project shall be accompanied by cash, money order, a certified or cashier's good faith check or a bond with corporate surety in the amount of at least 10% of the total Proposal. All Proposals shall be effective for sixty (60) days, and must be completed within ninety (90) calendar days of the Notice to Proceed. The successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance, Payment and Maintenance Bonds in the amount of 100% of the total contract amount, said bonds to be that of an approved surety company authorized to transact business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Kutztown Borough reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all Bidders, to reject any and all Bids, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Kutztown Borough, at the time and under the circumstances stipulated. Borough of Kutztown hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to accept or reject any and all Bids or portions thereof and to delete projects and/or portions of projects based upon budget constraints.
