Replace one unit heater and install two radiant tube heaters for the Town of Merrimack Highway Garage. Bidders must inspect the site and be familiar with conditions. The proposed systems must comply with industry standards, including those by ASHREA, maintain specified temperatures, and meet all applicable codes. Minimum scope of work includes: disconnecting and removing old unit heaters, disposing of them properly; furnishing and installing one new 150kbtu unit heater and thermostat; furnishing and installing two new 100kbtu radiant tube heaters; installing new gas piping and venting for new heaters; pressurizing and leak checking piping; starting, checking, and testing all equipment. An optional item is removal and demolition of ceiling fans, running 120V to tube heaters, and wiring line voltage thermostats by a licensed electrician. Proposals must include a detailed outline of the scope of work, total cost on the Bid Form, warranty information, specifications of proposed equipment, and a list of significant materials and tasks. Three copies of the proposal must be submitted. Bidders must provide insurance certificates as specified, agree to indemnify the Town, and provide references for comparable recent work. Bids must be submitted sealed and marked, and received by the specified deadline. All labor, materials, and debris removal for a complete installation are to be included.
