Standing Timber Sale - Landscaping/Irrigation Bids are sought for harvesting and purchasing approximately 150 Mbf total saw log volume of timber located on Amherst Rd, Map 4A, Lot 2 in the Town of Merrimack, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire. The work must commence on or before the specified Notice of Proceed date and be completed by September 30, 2026. Bidders are responsible for all bid preparation expenses and must inspect the site prior to bidding. A mandatory walkthrough is scheduled for all prospective bidders. Four copies of bids, marked “Bid on Standing Timber Sale,” must be submitted to the Town's Finance Department by the specified deadline. The successful bidder is required to pay the sale price in four installments, provide a $3,000 performance bond, and supply insurance certificates for worker’s compensation, general liability, and motor vehicle coverage, naming the Town as an additional insured. The successful bidder must also agree in writing to indemnify the Town from any liability arising from the project. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, negotiate contracts, or waive irregularities in the proposals.
