Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The Iowa Department of Administrative Services will be receiving bids for the Wallace Building Demolition at Capitol Complex, 502 E 9th Street, Des Moines, IA 50319. The Iowa Department of Administrative Services anticipates construction to begin on November 15, 2025 and end on May 06, 2026. The Bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security as set forth in the Instructions to Bidders in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cashier's check or a certified check drawn upon a solvent bank chartered under the laws of the United States of America. The Iowa Department of Administrative Services reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive irregularities and to accept a bid that is deemed in the best interest of the State of Iowa. Questions must be submitted by 4:00 PM, February 11, 2026, to the Issuing Officer.
