Site work for a water / sewer project in Des Moines, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Provide materials, equipment, and labor necessary, including excavation, installation, backfill, testing, surface restoration, cleanup, and miscellaneous associated work, to complete installation of approximately 50 feet of 6-inch ductile iron water main, 870 feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main, 1,600 feet of 12-inch ductile iron water main, 1,060 feet of 8-inch polyvinyl chloride water main, and 1,400 feet of 12-inch polyvinyl chloride water main. Work consists of connections to existing mains, installation of appurtenances and water service transfers, disconnection of mains to be abandoned, and removal of old surface facilities. PROJECT INTENT A. Replacement of existing water mains for Base Bid as follows: 1. River Oaks Drive from SW 42nd Street to Lincoln Place Drive 2. Brentwood Drive from River Oaks Dr to Dead End 3. SW 42nd Street from Muskogee Avenue to River Oaks Drive 4. Oak Forest Drive from SW 42nd Street to Dead End 5. Muskogee Avenue from SW 42nd Street to River Oaks Drive Provide materials, equipment, and labor necessary, including excavation, installation, backfill, testing, surface restoration, cleanup, and miscellaneous associated work, to complete installation of approximately 1,830 feet of 8-inch ductile iron water main and 5,080 feet of 8-inch polyvinyl chloride water main and consists of connections to existing mains, installation of appurtenances and water service transfers, disconnection of mains to be abandoned, and removal of old surface facilities
